Here we preview the best action of the third weekend of Premier League football and offer our top weekend Premier League football tips.
Liverpool v Arsenal
Two sides who have won both their games so far this season meet an Anfield for the Saturday evening kick-off, as Liverpool face Arsenal.
It has been an impressive start to the campaign for The Reds who have beaten Norwich City 4-1 and Southampton 2-1, boasting six different scorers in those two Premier League wins, with a Euro Super Cup success in Istanbul against Chelsea in between. They will have welcomed a week’s rest ahead of Arsenal arriving at Anfield for what is sure to be an attacking and compelling game to watch.
The Gunners won 1-0 at Newcastle before beating Burnley 2-1 at The Emirates – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring the winning goals in both their games so far. It will be interesting to see how Arsenal approach the fixture, but Liverpool will go all-out attack as usual, which will make it an open spectacle.
The Gunners, who have failed to beat Liverpool in their last five games, conceding 12 goals in their last three visits to Anfield, could exploit Liverpool’s attacking style and try to hit them on the break, but we see a narrow home win.

Manchester United v Crystal Palace Preview
Manchester Untied welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon with United looking to remain unbeaten, whilst Palace are hunting their first win.
United got their season off to a great start by beating Chelsea 4-0, thanks to two goals from Marcus Rashford, but they were held to a 1-1 draw at Wolves a week later, Anthony Martial finding the net again – however, Paul Pogba saw a second half penalty saved.
Crystal Palace were held to a 0-0 at Selhurst Park by Everton on the opening day of the season, then lost 1-0 to Sheffield United at Bramhall Lane. That means the Eagles are one of two sides waiting to score a goal this season – the other being Watford.
If United are to have a successful season, these are the kind of games they cannot afford to slip up in, as they did when drawing 0-0 with Palace at Old Trafford last season. We see a comfortable win for the Red Devils against a Palace side still looking for a goal this season and who have failed to score on their last three trips to United.

Bournemouth v Manchester City betting tips
Current Premier League title holders, Manchester City, make the long trip south to face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
City won their opening game 5-0 at West Ham but were then held to a 2-2 draw by Tottenham in controversial fashion. What would have been a perfectly good goal last season was ruled out for City in the last minute because of a dubious (new) handball decision. But Raheem Sterling took his goal tally to four in the game and Sergio Aguero scored again too.
Bournemouth were held to a 1-1 draw on the opening day of the season by newly promoted Sheffield United, but then secured a good 2-1 win at another newly promoted team, Aston Villa. The Cherries are always hard to beat at home, so it won’t be plain sailing for City – however, they have won the last five meetings between the two sides, including a narrow 1-0 win in March.
It is hard to back against City winning again, but we do see Bournemouth scoring.
